Have you ever been at the cinema in the morning?
I guess not since it isn’t pretty usual.
That’s why having breakfast (at 10.00 am) and then seeing an arthouse film is a very rare and unusual situation.
And doing it in the home of the great Federico Fellini makes it even more odd.
Let me tell you about Cinema Fulgor.
Cinema Fulgor was inaugurated on January 20th 2018, on the anniversary of Federico Fellini’s birthday.
It has been restored following the project of the set designer Dante Ferretti.
It isn’t just a movie theatre, it’s a culturally valuable landmark.
It was the place where director Fellini saw his first movies and became passionate about The Seventh Art.
By simply entering you get a pleasant experience.
And thinking about being able to enjoy it on Sunday morning and while having breakfast seems absurd.
Instead it’s what you can do every Sunday morning.
If you are passionate of arthouse films, here you will always find a film that has left its mark in the history of cinema.
Some examples?
“Wild Strawberries” by Ingmar Bergman
Or
“Modern Times” by Charlie Chaplin.
In these occasions we always watch historical movies or dedicated reviews.
You can find the detailed program here, on the movie theatre’s website:

It is an initiative that confirms the cultural character that Cinema Fulgor has taken.
