The conclusion of a relationship is always a big open wound.
A wound that is bigger if you are left alone and abandoned.
Today I would like to tell you a story of our guest that came to Rimini during an October weekend to start again a new life.
I allow myself to share it(this is a fictional name for privacy) to explain you that there are a lot of reasons to come to Rimini.
One of these reasons is: cheer yourself up after a love delusion.
Very well. Let’s start.
I met Martina at her arrival at the check-in.
Once made the usual procedures I immediately understood that it wasn’t a very happy moment in her life.
There are two details that tell you the present and, in part, even a person’s past.
And they are the eyes and smile.
The eyes, being connected to the brain, are the mirror of the present of a person.
There are eyes that are full of light and joy, while others are sad and full rage and revenge.
Martina’s eyes were like that.
They were faded and were screaming for revenge.
The smile instead talks you about a person’s past.
Because smile is something that builds up during time.
And the ones who don’t have a nice smile, they lose a bit of it every day.
Like a drop that slowly digs the rock. In this way someone who suffers for a long period loses his smile.
Martina gave me the impression to be in this state.
While I was accompanying her to her room she told me that she wanted to live those two days that she
conceded to herself to forget what had happened to her in the last period.
She told me how, after a 7 years relationship, (like the most common of the weddings) her boyfriend Andrea left her to run away with his job colleague.
I understood that it was really hard for her.
Her words were full of rage and frustration.
It wasn’t difficult to understand why.
I told her that there was only one way to overcome something like this. Time. Only time can heal up a wound like this.
But I told her that even in the present she had another way to react to this moment.
Live the present at his fullest. Totally. Giving her best. Organizing positive activities.
Enjoying the present and the beauties that Rimini and Savoia Hotel can give her.
Once I knew about her story, first I assigned her our Executive Suite in the sixth floor.
I wanted that the beauty of that room and the sea view could fulfill, partially, the disappointment that she was living.
While looking at the sea, she fed her mind of serenity and her negative thoughts disappeared.
Then I suggested her to give herself some nice relaxing moment inside our Spa.
Where Miriam and her girls took her by the hand, taking her in a travel to the discovery of wellness.
Furthermore, I organized her a guided tour to show her the beauty of Rimini’s jewels.
A travel inside the history of the city. I suggested her to visit those places while imagining to be in those temples.
She had to see the Romans walking on Tiberius’ Bridge.
An imagination job that had a precise objective: keeping her mind busy with positive thoughts.
At her return she seemed to me a different person.
Her eyes were bright and alive.
For one day she forgot of her sufferance.
When on Monday morning she left, she wanted to thank me for the attention that all the staff dedicated to her.
This story shows once more like pain, disappointment and negativity can be healed dedicating some
time with yourself and beauty.
And if you want this you only have to look at our offers here.
See you in Rimini.
